Adam Beattie

'Carefully crafted, gently affecting songwriting with a dark twist'

Adam Beattie's official bio

The press have described Adam’s music as ‘Incredibly Beautiful’ (MARY ANNE HOBBS, BBC RADIO 6 MUSIC) and ‘Carefully crafted, gently affecting songwriting with a dark twist’ RODDY HART, BBC RADIO SCOTLAND.

Adam performed his best known song ‘A Song Of One Hundred Years’ at the Union Chapel, London in January this year to a crowd of over 600 people, as part of a collective project called ‘Band Of Burns – A tribute to the life and work of Robert Burns’. This saw Adam as Scots-troubadour, a very Celtic melody to accompany the story of his grandfather who lived to be 100 years old. This melodic and warm side is well balanced with a more minor-blues edge.
