The Nest Collective is more than excited to be part of these incredible outfits of field based ceremonial celebrations. These Festivals in our mind do more than offer the opportunity to just binge on good times but offer a chance to go on journeys through music and discover worlds you may never have seen or heard. We book the best we know and bring our special concoction of the ancient and the modern combined.
The Vault festival 27th Jan – 6th March
The Nest Collective once again delves underground to join forces with the Vault festival, London’s leading contemporary theatre experience over six weeks in early 2016, house in the mythical Old Vic Tunnels under Waterloo station. Every Wednesday night we will present two acts for your musical delictation… and its all free!
Should you be keen for a raucous ceilidh dance, then come and join us for the CLF late show on 26th February.

Cambridge folk Festival 28th – 31st July
In in many previous years, the Nest Collective will take over the Den at Cambridge folk festival on the Friday 29th July to present a very special lineup of the most exciting emerging artists on the UK folk scene. The Ceilidh Liberation Front will also be performing in the Den on Sunday 31st July.
Port Elliot 29th – 31st July
We are delighted to be working in partnership with Port Elliot festival for the first time in 2016. On Friday 29th July The Nest Collective will be taking over the Bowling Green stage for an evening of family friendly folky entertainment that includes dancing workshops, singing workshops, and some very special appearances from some really exciting acts.
Sam Lee will also be performing at Port Eliot festival on Friday 29th, and the Ceilidh Liberation Front will be performing a mega ceilidh on the Bowling Green on Saturday 30th.
Shambala Festival 25th – 28th August
The Nest Collective will be presenting a full weekend program of folk and world music on the Sankofa stage, with Europe’s largest yurt providing the venue in 2016. In a program put together in collaboration with Shambala, expect a discerning selection of the most beautiful and inspiring acts, with a few old favourites and plenty of new gems to open your musical receptors for the year ahead.
Festival No.6 1st – 4th September
Following the success of the inaugural Campfire stage in 2015, the Nest Collective returns to the fantantastical Port Merion for Festival No.6, with a bigger stage and an evermore exciting lineup. The Nest Collective stage is the opportunity get away from the bass and the drums of the late night entertainment, to ease your way into the wee hours with some of the finest folk and world music, featuring an increased Welsh presence for 2016.
