Years before music has moved away from us to the stages and the secluded world of professional musicians, decades before headphones and mp3’s allowed us to isolate ourselves with sounds, music was a celebration of togetherness and a major part of daily community life, as means of communication, expressing feeling, celebrating the rites of life, altering states of consciousness and simply enjoying. In every place and every culture music was a force allowing people to move beyond the consciousness of daily life into an experience of oneness.
“Gathering together, listening carefully to the sounds of nature, a basic pulse emerges like a heartbeat taking over the body and mind. With the growing breath voices join freely carrying a melody born out of the moment, taking the mind on a journey beyond intellectual understanding, filling the body with new, refreshing energy.”
“Pulsing” was born out a longing for this nourishing space. It is an invitation to come together, listen deep, breath in tune to the rhythm, and let your voice join as it is, experiencing together the joy of spontaneous creativity.
