The Nest Collective is seeking a Production Manager on a fixed-term basis to work with our dynamic freelance team:
- Fixed-term freelance contract to February 2022
- Expected minimum time commitment 2-3 days per week
- Competitive day rate
- Reporting to the Executive Director / supported by the Associate Producer
and the wider Nest team - Our team works Tuesdays – Thursdays, meeting both online and in East
London, and in event spaces across London and in regional UK locations
Our Team
We are a small and dedicated part-time team; passionate about what we do.
We work Tuesday to Thursday, and on event dates across our season. Our core team work is currently online, with our primary meeting and kit space in Hackney, East London.
The Production Manager reports the Executive Director and supervises the Associate Producer, who is an embedded member of the Nest team. The role will also be supported by the wider team.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to work with us over a short period, to lead on the preparation of our major, outdoor programme for 2022. These programmes launch in April 2022, so ideally we want this piece of work completed by the end of February. The role will also include supporting the delivery of one live project delivered at the end of January.
Much of this work is well-underway, and the role will be well-supported by the Associate Producer and other members of the team. While this is a short-term role, there is scope to develop the position into a long-term production role with Nest for the right person and as circumstances develop.
We are a small organisation with a strong mission, supported by a dedicated team of skilled freelancers. We are seeking an individual with experience of working within music production, and on multiple concurrent projects, who is organised, dynamic, and self-motivated.
The Nest Collective is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are committed to supporting the diversification of the cultural workforce, and we therefore warmly invite applications from people who are underrepresented within our organisation and across the sector.
