We are delighted to announce the brilliant Debs Newbold will be hosting four Singing With Nightingales events in spring 2022.
For those of you that don’t know, Singing With Nightingales is part of The Nest Collective’s annual programme. Each spring, we invite you to step silently into the night and listen as the finest musicians in the land duet with the sweet song of the nightingale. You’ll join your host and special guest musicians on an unforgettable journey into nature.
Created by folk singer & Nest Collective Artistic Director, Sam Lee, Singing With Nightingales takes place in a period of just six weeks April-May when the male nightingales are singing their courtship song.

While darkness falls upon the magnificent and ecologically-unparalleled woodland we partake in this singular celebration of spring – the return of life to the land – soundtracked by its most decorated singer. Sam Lee will continue to host Singing With Nightingales events throughout this period, but he is of course only one human, so we are delighted that with Debs Newbold on board we can now hold even more of these special gatherings.
