Workshops and Talks (click to expand)

We have some amazing workshops lined up for you:

How Everybody Can Rewild the Land – A Talk with Dylan Walker

    • In this talk, ecologist and author Dylan Walker takes us on a journey that reimagines our place in nature. Dylan will describe – not only how our ancestors got things right – but also how we can easily mimic their actions today to help regenerate our natural world. With practical advice for you to take away with you, a walk in the woods may never seem the same again!

Rights of Nature – A Talk with Paul Powlesland
Paul Powlesland is a Barrister and founder of Lawyers For Nature. He is a pioneer in the movement for ecological justice campaigning and the cutting-edge movement to give nature a legal right and entity. He is a charismatic speaker & legendary activist who will transform the most conservative of minds into the reasons for this work and the policies and challenges we face societally to move into a legal framework for protecting nature as one of us.

The Right to Roam is the Right to Connect – A Talk with Jon Moses, Paul Powlesland and the R2R Team
Ours is a wild and beautiful island. But the vast majority of it is unknown to us because, by law of trespass, we are banned from setting foot on it. We are excluded from hundreds of thousands of acres of open space – of woodland, meadows, rivers and their banks – simply because ancient laws of ownership fail to recognise the importance of nature to the public. R2R are campaigning to bring a Right to Roam Act to England so that millions more people can have easy access to open space, and the physical, mental and spiritual health benefits that it brings.

Hornbeam Tree Immersion – A Workshop with Charlotte Pulver
Join us for a Hornbeam Tree immersion, learning plant spirit connection practises, alchemy and medicine making with pilgrimage leader and apothecarist Charlotte Pulver.

Gong Bath and Guided Meditation – A Workshop with Alicia Ma Ri Atu Ma / Hush Hour
Deeply calming and connecting to the vibrations of the woods, this unique experience will allow us to bathe in the sounds of the forest with the accompaniment of Alicia Davies and her spectacular gong bath.

Creative writing with Nature – A Workshop with Daniel Grimstone
Daniel Grimestone is a poet, actor and theatre maker at the heart of the Right to Roam and ecological justice movement. This workshop is a chance to listen to some of the great works of nature adoration and find your own voice and language to channel your own love of the land.

Breath Work – A Workshop with Jacob Tomkins
Jacob is a renowned forest leader and practitioner of body and breath-work. Through his own journey of healing and learning about how breath work can support and heal chronic pain, Jacob uses this as a practice to bring mindfulness and resilience.

Camping

Unique for this event, on-site camping is included in the price of your ticket. This is a ‘DIY’ pitch so you will need to bring your own tent and bedding.

If you would like to upgrade your experience with a luxury bell tent, please find these add-ons under ‘Tickets’.
