Will you consider making a donation to support our work, and sustain our plans into the future?
The Nest Collective was formed in the early 2000s as a folk club in the early days of the third folk revival, focused on bringing the burgeoning genre to new audiences. We wanted to build upon the incredible tradition of people gathering to play and enjoy music of many cultures, free from barriers and connected to the past while also creating a sanctuary for a future-facing community.
Since those early years, The Nest Collective has continued to experiment with our unique marriage of the art form placed within unusual spaces; constantly challenging how we imagine folk music today. We have developed an award-winning programme, hosting many cultural traditions, with an outstanding range of world-class artists.
Today, the Nest Collective is recognised for the work we do to build cultural connections with magnificent local natural spaces, unknown even to the most intrepid of audience members. We have become trailblazers in programming the unknown through the lens of the unexpected.
The Nest Collective is a not-for-profit organisation, and everything we do is designed to support our community, whether that’s our audiences, local families or the artists we live to pioneer. I am immensely proud of the work of The Nest Collective, and grateful to the many people who make our work possible.
Income from our box office and partnership work can only cover a small part of the costs of delivering our award-winning programme and our work in communities.
With your support we can continue to ensure our work is accessible, whilst reaching more people through our in-person and online programme. We can take risks, and break new boundaries, and continue to bring the finest talent in global music to a global audience.
We are grateful for the generosity of all our supporters, which is so essential to our current and future work. Philanthropic gifts from individual members of our community, companies and grant-givers underpin everything we do, and make our work possible.
I hope you will consider making a donation to support our work today, and sustain our plans into the future.
