Rediscover one of life’s simplest joys – the sharing of live music in the glow of a campfire.
Every summer, we gather in beautiful green spaces to hear extraordinary music by artists from all over the world.
In the simple way that people have done for thousands of years, we come together around the fire to enjoy music, food, drink and the company of others.
The special guest artist for this Campfire Club is Stornoway.
Beloved nature-celebrating indie folk band Stornoway are known for their disarmingly personal live shows. They return in 2023 after an eight year hiatus with brand new album ‘Dig The Mountain!’.
“It’s thrilling to see the response from fans each time,” says Oli Steadman, reflecting on Stornoway’s smattering of rare & secretive live appearances over the last few years. “Those vital moments are when we come face-to-face with just how much people continue to love Stornoway, and believe in it.”
“Getting to hear live music after so long was deeply emotional and the feeling of collective spirit (especially now) was really powerful.”
“The sun setting over the garden and Thames and the amazing overall relaxed (yet ‘safe’) ambience of the event. Very moving to finally be at a live gig.”
“The beautiful venue, the beautiful music, the beautiful weather! Thank you so much.”
“This was my first live music event since the beginning of the year and, although the acts were brilliant, I think what will stay with me is the joy of being with people and enjoying the moment together. I feel very grateful to you all for putting on the event.”
“Walking into a wonderland of nature with beautiful music and people, it made me feel wonderfully elated.”
“The atmosphere was incredible, I knew I would love the music but I loved the atmosphere just as much.”
Please note that our use of an actual campfire at this event will depend on the temperature on the day – if there’s a heatwave then we won’t be lighting a fire, however the concert will still be beautiful regardless.
Attendees please note that this venue is accessed down a long track of uneven ground. If you have any mobility issues please contact us to enquire.
