Learn MoreTune in this January for a unique Scottish celebration from the comfort of your own home.
If you can’t get to the ceilidh, we’ll bring the ceilidh to you!
Join the Nest Collective online for a night bedecked in tartan and tam o’shanters, with whisky flowing and floorboards shaking, all in celebration of Scotland’s favourite son, Robert Burns.
Your host Sam Lee will guide you through the evening. Dance along at home to a live ceilidh band (with Covid-safe demonstration dancers!), listen to contributions from special guest musicians, and enjoy the Burns ceremony itself.
This special broadcast went out live on 25th January 2021.
Join in with the festivities:
Dance the night away to our ceilidh band from your own Burns dancefloor-of-choice.
Get the haggis, neeps and tatties ready and cater your own Burns supper at home along with us!
Cook, dance, listen and share in the wisdom of Robert Burns.
Our very own Ceilidh Liberation Front band will provide the soundtrack to these ceilidh dances specially re-purposed for spaces large or small, for groups, couples or solo dancers – no experience is necessary. Come on in, don’t be shy. Lace up your dancing shoes and dosie-do before your dinner!
Drams will be raised, sporrans polished, lassies toasted, dosies do’ed, willows stripped, and homage paid to Rabbie Burns in the most unruly fashion!
We are very excited to announce the special guest musicians offering contributions will be:
Ewan McLennan • Alasdair Roberts • Burd Ellen • Namvula • Rachel Newton • Iona Fyfe • Adam Beattie
See you at 8pm on Monday 25th January!

This Burns Night we are delighted to be raising funds for Migrateful.
Migrateful runs cookery classes led by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants struggling to integrate and access employment. The cookery classes provide ideal conditions not just for learning English and building confidence, but also for promoting contact and cultural exchange with the wider community.
