Rediscover one of life’s simplest joys – the sharing of live music in the glow of a campfire.
Every summer, we gather in beautiful green spaces within cities to hear extraordinary music by artists from all over the world.
In the simple way that people have done for thousands of years, we come together around the fire to enjoy music, food, drink and the company of others.
For this Campfire Club we are delighted to present Jack Rutter.
Yorkshire folk singer Jack Rutter has established himself as one of the standout voices of the folk, roots and acoustic music scene in recent years. A hugely engaging stage presence, his soaring vocal, powerhouse guitar and bouzouki playing and masterful arrangements of traditional songs and contemporary covers have enthralled audiences from the largest festival main stages to the most intimate folk clubs. Following on from his critically acclaimed second album Gold of Scar & Shale, 2022 will see the release of a brand new EP, with 2023 bringing the successor to Gold of Scar & Shale in the form of a new album of traditional songs.
‘Among Britain’s finest traditional singers.’ – Folk Radio UK
‘An outstanding performer.’ – The Independent
We are also delighted to present Fellow Pynins.
Fellow Pynins is an award winning contemporary folk duo with a keen and bucolic sense of vocal harmony and song craft.
Wielding claw-hammer banjo, Irish bouzouki, mandolin, and acoustic guitar the duo sings predominantly original music as well as reworked traditional ballads gathered from their travels.
“Getting to hear live music after so long was deeply emotional and the feeling of collective spirit (especially now) was really powerful.”
“The sun setting over the garden and Thames and the amazing overall relaxed (yet ‘safe’) ambience of the event. Very moving to finally be at a live gig.”
“The beautiful venue, the beautiful music, the beautiful weather! Thank you so much.”
“This was my first live music event since the beginning of the year and, although the acts were brilliant, I think what will stay with me is the joy of being with people and enjoying the moment together. I feel very grateful to you all for putting on the event.”
“This event was phenomenal. I cannot wait until I attend another one… the musicians were something else. I certainly didn’t feel as though I was in Peckham, but some enchanted woodlands”
“Walking into a wonderland of nature with beautiful music and people, it made me feel wonderfully elated.”
“The atmosphere was incredible, I knew I would love the music but I loved the atmosphere just as much.”
