This July, The Nest Collective invites you and your kids to discover extraordinary music around the campfire.
At Campfire Club, we gather together in beautiful green spaces and listen to amazing music from all over the world. We enjoy music in the simple way that people have done for thousands of years, around the fire with food, drink, and each other.
We are delighted to be bringing the Campfire Club experience to The Promised Land for families with young children this summer.
Each Family Campfire Club includes:
• Performances of stunning music
• Nature activities for the kids
• Food and drink (local ales, snacks) available to buy on the day
For this Family Campfire Club our special guest musician is Gasper Nali.
Gasper Nali plays a Babatoni – a 3 meter, one-stringed, home-made bass guitar – with an empty bottle and a stick. And makes the most beautiful and catchy original afro-beats possible.
Gasper is a one-man-band, with the Babatoni bass guitar, cow skin kick drum and very catchy tunes. He is absolutely unlike anything else. It’s super Malawian roots, it’s very up beat and incredibly danceable! – or – as a Bandcamp fan nicely put it: “Gasper is a one man party! It’s completely impossible to stop moving – and just as impossible to stop smiling!”

Gasper Nali is a roots one-man-band from the small town of Nkhata Bay on the shores of Lake Malawi.
