Fire Choir: Spring Term

Fire Choir: Spring Term

8th January to 25th March 2024 • 7pm to 9pm • Kings Place

Fire Choir is an open-to-all community choir dedicated to communal singing with political empowerment.

Material includes folk songs, modern songs, anti-war songs, songs of resistance and struggle, the natural world, songs of love and lost worlds. A portion of the Fire Choir repertoire has been especially commissioned by The Nest Collective, creating new songs sung from the perspective of contemporary communities struggling for a louder voice in society. Writers include some of the UK’s best songwriters and composers Dizraeli, Martha Tilston, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and others.

Channel your love for, or discontent with, this world through powerful communal singing that feeds the fire in your belly!

Membership fee is for a term of 10 in-person sessions of 2 hours each, on Mondays from 7pm – 9pm in the St Pancras Room at Kings Place.

Spring Term starts on Monday 8th January 2024, with sessions taking place on the following dates:

8 Jan, 15 Jan, 22 Jan, 5 Feb, 19 Feb, 26 Feb, 4 Mar, 11 Mar, 18 Mar, 25 Mar
