The third and final of three live-streamed concerts from us at Grand Junction this March.
9Bach
9Bach’s music is an atmospheric, evocative, and emotional hybrid of the Welsh folk tradition, and of contemporary influences and working practices. Building on a deepened, almost ambient sound picture, the songs take you into the landscape and the emotions that it evokes. Music is a living thing, not a museum piece, and the way that 9Bach compose and perform reflect this.
9Bach are Lisa Jen on vocals and Martin Hoyland on guitars, together with Dan Swain (bass guitar), Esyllt Glyn Jones (harp, vocals), and Mirain Roberts (vocals).
Germa Adan
Known for her unique use of the fiddle as an accompaniment to her vocals, Creole folk star Germa Adan uses delicate yet intricate rhythm and harmonies in her work to create intriguing songs influenced by Haitian, American and British folk fused with classical music.
Her storytelling style has a strong undercurrent of social consciousness at the heart of her music and a desire to explore themes of the past and the modern day.
20% of every streaming ticket sale will go towards our chosen charity for this event, Friends of the Earth.
