Idrîsî Ensemble are performers exploring rare, never-recorded and endangered music from the ancient Mediterranean. For Magpie’s Nest 2023 they will perform an a cappella program bridging troubadour song, early polyphony, Corsican, Greek and Finnish oral traditions.

Leading Serbian Roma violinist Branko Ristic and English ‘passionate nimble-fingered accordionist’ Faith Elliott perform virtuosic original Roma-influenced music with their international ensemble.

Tommy Khosla is a contemporary sitar player and composer. Jawari will be performing a mixed bill of Khosla’s solo pieces alongside their new unreleased music.
