4 September 2025 • 7pm – 10:30pm

Grand Junction, London

The Nest Collective invites you to enjoy a beautiful concert with Eliza Marshall as part of her 'New Birth' tour.

Eliza Marshall - flautist, composer, artist

Step into a powerful world of sound and spirit as renowned cross-genre-flautist Eliza Marshall brings her debut solo projects New Birth & Eternal Birth to life on stage this Autumn. 2025 sees Eliza spring forth solo, from two decades of numerous collaborations, with her debut EP ‘New Birth’ released on Real World X in May, and her debut album ‘Eternal Birth’ coming this September.

Weaving layers of haunting flute melodies, hypnotic rhythms, percussion and electronics, spoken word and guitars - as well as her huge array of whistles and bansuris - Eliza draws on global traditions and profound inner reflection for these intimate and soul stirring performances.

Breaking boundaries though creativity has always been at the core of flautist Eliza’s music making, with a particular love of the music from Scotland and Africa, Steve Reich and Paul Simon. A catalyst for positive change, her work is inspired by nature and driven by a deep desire for compassion and a connected humanity.

Renowned for her work with the award-winning folk group Ranagri, Eliza is also an in-demand session player contributing to records by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, First Aid Kit, Florence & The Machine and The White Stripes. She was a member of Peter Gabriel's New Blood Orchestra and also appears on his current album i/o. She is founder and Artistic Director of the multi-media-production Freedom To Roam - awarded 5* reviews from Morning Star, 4* from Songlines and standing ovations around the UK.

Join Eliza as she releases her debut album Eternal Birth this September, celebrating the cycle of life, mother in earth, and our eternal nurture through nature.
